ABSTRACT PREPARATION FORM

Abstracts instructions

1. The abstract must have a maximum length of two pages (A4), including text (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion), tables, figures and references.

2. Abstracts must be sent before August 20, 2008, by e-mail to alap08@balcarce.inta.gov.ar as a Microsoft Word™ file. The file should be named with the surname of the first author followed by abstract number (ex. lópez1.doc, lópez2.doc, etc.).

3. Indicate at the end of the abstract if you would agree to give an oral presentation in case of being selected.

4. The presentation of an abstract implies the assistance to the Congress of at least one author.    

TYPING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Abstracts written in Spanish, English and Portuguese will be accepted.
  • The following organization must be used:
  • The margins should be 2,5 cm.
  • Always use single spacing.
  • Title written in capital letters, Times New Roman font, size 12.

    -    The name(s) of the author(s) should follow the format: "Fernandez S, Núñez N,…. y Hernández M " in Times  New  Roman  font, size 11. The name of the author presenting the poster or the oral presentation should be underlined.

  • The name and complete address of the author’s institution written in italics, Times New Roman font, 10.

   Skip one line

  • The text should be written in Times New Roman font, size 11.

    -    The list of references should be placed after the text. References should be listed and cited in the text.

    -    Tables and figures should be numbered. Tables should be provided with a suitable heading and figures with a suitable legend. Font sizes no smaller than "Times New Roman" 10 should be used.

    -      The abstract should be in black and white.

    -      Do not number the pages. 

Poster Instructions

The posters will be exhibited in panels specially enabled for it. Poster dimensions should be 90 cm wide x 120 cm high. Materials for assembly will be provided (double sided tape)

The posters will be exposed from Sunday November 30th in the afternoon until Friday December 5th. The main author of the summary presented will be informed by e-mail the number of his poster and days of exhibition.
